DANILO RICCI

Danilo Ricci (born Danilo Ricciardiello) is an eclectic musician with a creative and dynamic approach across a vast range of music styles. Born in Naples, Italy, he started studying classical guitar when he was eleven years old, before becoming interested in more contemporary musical styles such as blues, rock and jazz. Dani studied with the Italian composer G. Perna, at the music conservatoire of Naples and with some top international jazz guitar teachers during some of his stays in New York City.

After completing his BMus(Hons) in Jazz Guitar from the Conservatory of Music 'San Pietro a Majella', Dani moved to London in 2015, where he established himself as a teacher, session guitarist, composer and producer, working with a variety of international clients and artists. In 2018, he started his own music productions and session works in his new music studio in London. In 2021, he was awarded a Guildhall School Financial Award for the Guildhall Artist Masters programme to study composition for media, electronic music and produced music.

Danilo teaches at Greenwich Music School, Blackheath Conservatoire and in his music studio. He deeply enjoys teaching students of all ages and different styles, doing guitar masterclasses and writing arrangements for his band classes. He is always committed to sharing his passion for both music and guitar with his students.
